A LEADING HAND collects information through our Web site at several points. We collect the following information about primary visitors: full name, full address including postal code, contact phone numbers, email address. We also collect the following information about your pets: name, birthdate, sex, breed, colors/markings, history of origin, medical history, current vaccination records, current medical condition, temperament, past aggressive incidences (if any), emergency contact information. We verify the accuracy of this information by requiring a copy of your pet's vaccination records. A LEADING HAND does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information.

We may collect demographic data in order to improve our services and programs. This information would be voluntarily collected using your email address or mailing address.

We collect this information through registration forms and customer satisfaction surveys. The information is collected voluntarily. To receive our products and services, personal information about you and your pet is mandatory because we must insure the health and safety of all our clients' pets while in our care, during a training class or private consultation. Other information we request is optional.

We do not employ the use of cookies. A cookie is a small text file that some Web servers place on a user’s computer hard drive to be a unique identifier.

Third parties do not collect any of your private information at our Web site, and we will never sell your private information to a third party for any reason.

Part II. Information Usage
The information collected by A LEADING HAND will be used for identifying our clients and their pets. Users who provide information will receive training courses, private consultations, group dog walk participation, email announcements, advertisements or customer satisfaction surveys.

Registered users will receive additional announcements from us about products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.

We offer links to other Web sites. Please note: When you click on links to other Web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies. Their standards may differ from ours.
